AAA Texas: Midland again home to Texas' most expensive gas

Midland is home to the highest gas price average in the state, AAA Texas reported Thursday.Midland's average decreased by 2 cents to $3.25, which topped the list of averages in the 27 largest metro areas AAA Texas surveys. The decrease in Midland was tied for the smallest across the state. AAA Texas also reported the state's average decreased by 9 cents to $3.07. 'Fuel prices around most of the Lone Star State have been trending downward ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday next week. The main reason is the global cost for oil, gasoline's main ingredient, has been stuck in a narrow price range of $85 to $92 a barrel for several weeks,' AAA Texas reported.
